The photograph titled "Fresh Air" is of Mt. Denali, the highest mountain in North America at 20,310 feet located in Denali National Park in the Alaska interior. I had visited the park twice in my life, once with my father who, at the time, was 50 and I was 24 and because the mountain creates its own weather we didn't see it at all. Many years later, I took my son to the park and I was 52 and my son was 20: this time we saw the mountain in all its glory. We were now part of, what the locals call, the 30% club: only 30% of people hoping to catch a glimpse of Mt. Denali ever see it.
